Aikona is designed to replicate traditional wooden surfaces and is an ideal decking covering for walkways, boardwalks and terraced areas where a non-slip surface is required. Unlike real wood, Aikona planks will not deteriorate and is designed to remain unaffected by exposure to rain, snow and sunlight, even when permanently set outside. It has a tough wear layer, which is resilient to impact and abrasion and a carefully formulated non-slip surface that remains effective even when wet.
Aikona is an attractive wood effect decking material. It is available in two thicknesses, 5mm and 7mm. The 7mm heavy duty top welded decking profile is recommended for areas of high foot traffic, such as landing pontoons and walkways.The top welded profile helps to create a water tight seal to prevent any ingress of waterand the welded joint allows for expansion and contraction of the product.
