Aikona is designed to replicate traditional wooden surfaces and is an ideal decking covering for marina pontoons, jetties, walkways and areas where a non-slip surface is required. Unlike real wood, Aikona planks will not deteriorate and are designed to remain unaffected by exposure to rain, snow and sunlight, even when permanently set outside. It has a tough wear layer, which is resilient to impact and abrasion and a carefully formulated slip resistant surface that remains effective even when wet.

Aikona is an attractive wood effect decking material. It is available in two thicknesses, 5mm and 7mm. The 7mm heavy duty top welded decking profile is recommended for areas of high foot traffic, such as landing pontoons, jetties and walkways. Aikona top welded section is recommended for larger external deck areas.

Aikona wood effect decking system has many advantages including:

• slip resistant, even when wet (BS 7976-2: 2002)
• simple to maintain and quick to clean, can be pressure washed
