Aikona Commercial Marine decking has been installed around the swimming pool area on the top deck of the German-owned cruise vessel MS Delphin Voyager.
Aikona Commercial Marine decking has all the qualities of the other Aikona products, such as resilient to water and sunlight, slip resistant even when wet, retains the look and feel of new wood, noise reducing, but with the added advantage of having the Lloyd’s Register Certificate of Fire Approval. The 5mm thick black stripe top welded profile was used on the cruise vessel which was important for this installation due to the weight advantage.
Installation was undertaken in Greece before the vessel left for Hamburg for the inauguration ceremony on 18 May 2007, followed soon after by her inauguration cruise. For further information about the vessels’ cruises please visit www.delphin-voyager.de.
