Aikona’s new nosing section, 40mm x 20mm profile (N/1119) has been developed to give that solid teak effect on the edges of the steps when sanded. The profile is available in 10 metre lengths and weighs about 1034 gr/m.
The Aikona nosing will need to be rebated to the required thickness of the Aikona plank to achieve a flush fitting step and sanded to give it the teak effect finish.
Although designed especially for the marine market, this versatile section can be used for other installations.
